It always has hiccups so Don't Panic.

Once setup is done: Eyes OFF during walk through, Eyes ON after parade lap. Reduce walking traffic thru the start trigger when not actual racing

Won't trigger Start - Adjust the triggers so that the "line" is not in the direct Sun light (same for Stop failure)

Flip Start/Stop

SETUP, NEXT CHOICE until Set Eye Usage, then ENTER and flip start and stop. Does the timing failure chase the start/stop change?

Too many people wandering around triggering the start?  reset the timing system - no button, so cycle power, that may impact the van display.

If you replace one battery then remember to replace all of the batteries.

Buttons:

Eyes On/Off - Turn timing system On or Off

Re-Start - Press when the Finish was accidentally triggered

No Time - Manually Stop the finish

Clear Time - Press when the Start was accidentally triggered

New ID Code

SETUP, NEXT CHOICE until you see the appropriate Set ID (Eye #1, etc.)

programming (e.g., Set Eye #1 ID, Set Eye #2 ID, etc.).

  When you are ready to break the electric eye beam, press ENTER. The timer will tell you to

“break the beam now”.

 Walk through the selected electric eye beam. As soon as the beam is broken, the timer momentarily displays the ID code for the eye.
